I'm Sam — your photographer and local guide, someone who's spent her life exploring Bariloche's hidden corners so you can focus on what matters: being fully present with each other.
No seating charts. No vendor timelines. No performing for 200 people you barely know.
Just the two of you, surrounded by ancient forests, glacial lakes, mountain peaks and the kind of silence that's increasingly hard to find. A full day designed entirely around what makes you come alive together.
I'll be your adventure-loving, laid-back guide to bespoke elopements and unforgettable moments in Bariloche, Patagonia.
I won't be there to take pictures. I'll be there to tell your story.
For couples dreaming of something that doesn't look like anyone else's wedding.
I grew up here, and after all these years Patagonia still surprises me. Some mornings the lakes are perfectly still. Other days the mountains disappear behind clouds and return an hour later. No two days ever look the same — and there is no backdrop more dramatic, more honest, or more alive.
I know the hidden spots — the ones that don't show up on Google Maps — where it can feel like the entire Andes were built just for the two of you. No crowds, no tourist infrastructure getting in the way.
Summer brings long golden hours. Autumn turns the beech forests into burning orange. Winter means snow-covered peaks and a stillness that feels sacred. Every season tells a completely different story.
I was born here. I grew up on these trails. I know which spots get crowded, which ones stay wild, and exactly what time of year makes each location sing. That insider knowledge is yours when you book with me.
Every location I work with has been scouted personally. These are not pretty backdrops — they're places I know by heart, in every season and every light.
Bariloche has a way of making everything feel a little more magical. The mountains, the lakes, the silence between the trees. It's a place where you can go full adventure — hidden trails, kayaking, snow — or simply find a quiet spot and take it all in. Luxe or rustic, forest or lakeside, active or slow. For couples who want options, Bariloche always delivers.
One of South America's oldest national parks, and still one of its most alive. Crystal lakes reflecting impossible mountains. Wildflowers in the meadows. Ancient forests that invite you to slow down. You can spend the day exploring or simply be present with each other, surrounded by some of Patagonia's most beautiful landscapes. It's the kind of place that stays with you long after you've left.
When you book your elopement with me, here's what you actually get.
Check your date →I know where the wind hits hardest. Which roads close after heavy snow. Which trails get crowded. Where the light lingers longest in August. The places that don't appear in travel blogs. All of that knowledge, yours.
I'll tell you honestly when to come based on what you're dreaming of. No guesswork, no vague "it depends." Just a clear answer from someone who lives here year-round.
Whether you need a boat, horses, a helicopter, flowers, live music, or simply someone to make you feel your best on the morning of your elopement, I'll connect you with trusted local vendors who share the same care and attention to detail.
I arrive as a calm, caring companion. I'll help zip the dress, hold the champagne, suggest where to stand for the light, and know exactly when to disappear.
No forced poses. I document what's real — the quiet exhale before the vow, the laugh you didn't expect, the moment you forgot I was there.
Delivered in a private online gallery, full resolution, yours to keep. Images that bring your grandchildren back to a day they'll feel like they were there.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the wonderful memories you created for us. Every time we look at the photos of our wedding, we smile from ear to ear. You gave us a gift that will stay in our hearts forever.
Samanta was a DREAM! Her work is special, it's spectacular, and she was so kind and welcoming. She pours her heart into her photos, it's an art. If you decide on Samanta, you'll be getting the best of the BEST!
Sam is unique and the best for capturing those beautiful moments. Not only are her photos stunning and magical — she is a beautiful human being that you feel privileged to have close in a moment like this.
The most common questions from couples planning a Bariloche elopement. If yours isn't here, just ask.
Not at all. I handle all communication with local vendors, officials, and venues in Spanish. You just need to show up and enjoy.
Every season is beautiful, but each tells a different story. Summer (Dec–Mar) brings long golden hours and dramatic blue skies. Autumn (Apr–May) is all about fiery forests and mirror-still lakes — my personal favourite. Winter (Jun–Aug) means snow-capped mountains and a stillness that feels like the world stopped just for you. Spring (Sep–Nov) fills Patagonia with wildflowers and fresh colours. Tell me what you're dreaming of, and I'll tell you exactly when to come.
Patagonia is unpredictable, and that's part of its magic. I've photographed elopements in snow, wind, rain, and full golden sun — and, true to this landscape, the most dramatic conditions often create the most breathtaking images. I'll keep a close eye on the forecast and adjust the timeline when needed, making the most of whatever the day brings. And if your travel plans allow for flexibility, we can even shift to another day.
Absolutely not. Some of the most breathtaking locations around Bariloche are minutes from a road. If you want to hike, we can hike. If you want to walk 200 metres to a viewpoint that blows your mind, we can do that too. I'll design the day around your comfort level.
Yes — but the requirements depend on your nationality. I'll guide you through the documents you'll need to bring from home and connect you with a local specialist who regularly works with international couples. Many couples also choose to have a symbolic ceremony in Bariloche and complete the legal paperwork in their home country. Both options are completely valid, and a symbolic ceremony is often the simplest and most popular choice.
I take on a limited number of elopements each year, and peak season (December–March) books out 6–12 months in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out as soon as possible.
Yes — I love intimate elopements with a small circle of the people you love most. Just the two of you, a few guests, or anything in between. If your guest count grows beyond ~20, we might be crossing into Intimate Wedding territory — reach out and we'll figure it out together.
Nature has always been where I feel most alive, and I'm deeply grateful to call Bariloche home. Fourteen years of documenting love in wild, breathtaking places have shaped the way I see the world: I'm not looking for the perfect pose — I'm waiting for the real moment. The glance, the laugh, the wind blowing your veil, the quiet exhale before the kiss.
I believe in the power of a single look. In the emotional weight of a hug. In the fact that memories, when captured honestly, can last for generations.
